1. Acceptance

By adding TranslateBot V2 to your Discord server or using our website at v2.translatebot.app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

TranslateBot V2 provides real-time message translation within Discord servers via slash commands, flag reactions, and automatic translation groups. A web dashboard is provided for server management and configuration.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

• Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed exclusively through Discord's billing system. We do not handle payment details.
• Prices displayed on our website are indicative. Your local currency and exact amount are determined by Discord and may differ slightly due to exchange rates.
• Subscriptions auto-renew monthly. Cancellation must be done through Discord.
• Tokens granted with a subscription expire if the subscription lapses and are not refundable.
• Refunds are subject to Discord's refund policy.

4. Free Tier

Free accounts receive a one-time allocation of tokens. Once exhausted, translation features require a paid subscription or BYOK plan.

5. BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)

• You are responsible for complying with the terms of your chosen API provider (DeepL, OpenAI, Google).
• You are responsible for any costs incurred on your API key.
• We store your key encrypted but accept no liability for misuse if your key is compromised outside of our systems.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service to:

• Translate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Spam or flood translation requests to exhaust shared resources.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the bot or API.
• Circumvent subscription limits or token balances.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations without notice or refund.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, outages, or Discord API issues may temporarily affect the service. No compensation is provided for downtime.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Pricing changes will be announced with reasonable notice in our support server.

9. Intellectual Property

The bot, website, and all associated content are owned by TranslateBot V2. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works without permission.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Translation accuracy depends on third-party providers and is not guaranteed. We are not liable for decisions made based on translated content.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service operator is based. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
